Research Department is one of the most important department of any country. The growth of any country depends upon, how much they invest on their research department, who perform the research activity to find the way to upgrade the existing system and take it to a new level. The performance of research department depends upon the resources like laboratory equipment and laboratory expert, available in the department.


Therefore it is necessary for any research scholar to know about how much a country is investing on their research department. Hence a list of top-10 country over the world who are investing maximum billion dollar on their research department is being presented here.
  1. 473.4 Billion of US dollar which is 2.742 % of their GDP is spend by United States.
  2. 409.0 Billion of US dollar which is 2.100 % of their GDP is spend by China.
  3. 179.8 Billion of US dollar which is 3.584 % of their GDP is spend by Japan.
  4. 109.4 Billion of US dollar which is 2.869 % of their GDP is spend by Germany.
  5. 91.60 Billion of US dollar which is 4.292 % of their GDP  is spend by South Korea.
  6. 66.50 Billion of US dollar which is 0.85 % of their GDP is spend by India.
  7. 60.00 Billion of US dollar which is 2.256 % of their GDP is spend by France.

From above list it is clear that United States is investing maximum billion dollar on their research department with 473.4 billion US dollar and holding first position while India is investing 66.50 billion dollar on research department and  standing at sixth position.
