IIT Roorkee invites the application form the interested candidates for the post of Project Associate and Project Attendant in Virtual Labs Project sponsored by the Ministry of Education under the National Mission of Education through ICT. Project position(s) and number: Project Associate (05) and Project Attendant (01)
Qualifications
1. Project Associate (03)
- M.Tech/B.Tech in Computer Science /Information Technology/Electrical/Electronics and Communication Engineering / MCA with minimum 60% marks.
- The candidate should have a minimum of one year of experience in web development. Having a good knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, Angular/Node JS, CSS, Bootstraps, Graphic designing and webserver.
2. Project Associate (02)
- B.Tech in Electrical/Electronics and Communication/Instrumentation/Mechanical/Civil Engineering with minimum 60% marks.
- Candidate must have good knowledge of ICT based teaching and learning methods. Having expertise in MATLAB, LabVIEW and ANSYS software.
- Excellent writing and communication skills.
3. Project Attendant (01)
- Class 10th + 02 years of relevant experience.
- Upkeep of office and lab equipments, management/movement of files/documents.
Emoluments/Salary
- Project Associate Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 60,000 + HRA,
- Project Attendant Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 30,000 + HRA
Duration:
Project Associate - One year and may be extended further on yearly basis based on the performance,
Project Attendant – One year and may be extended further on half-yearly basis
Job description:
- Development and maintenance of web-enabled labs of engineering domains.
- Conduct the online/offline Bootcamps/workshops in engineering colleges.
- Develop the content for ICT based education tools
Selection Process:
Candidates will be selected based on their performance in the Test / Interview.
