Information about AICTE Doctoral Fellowship for PhD Admission

AICTE Doctoral Fellowship (ADF) scheme previously known as National Doctoral Fellowship (NDF) which is sponsored by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) invites online application for Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) admission at selected AICTE approved institutions every year. Eligibility

Candidate having following qualification are eligible to apply for ADF scheme for PhD admission 2020.
  • General and OBC Category candidates having 7.5 CGPA on the scale of 10 OR minimum of 75% at both B.E/B.Tech/B.Pharm and M.E/M.Tech/M.Pharm. Should be less than 30 years (35 years for women) of age as on 31st July of year of application.
  • SC/ST/PwD candidates having 7.0 CGPA on the scale of 10 OR minimum of 70% at both B.E/B.Tech/B.Pharm and M.E/M.Tech/M.Pharm. Should be less than 35 years of age as on 31st July of year of application.
  • Must have appeared in GATE/GPAT/NET exams in the last five years including GATE 2020 (2020, 2019, 2018, 2017, and 2016) and must have a valid GATE/GPAT Score.

Fellowship and Seats

Total 339 per year selected candidates through ADF scheme for PhD admission 2020 will get 31000/-pm for first two years and 35000/-pm for third year. Institute wise seat distribution is available in the guidelines the link for which given in the important links.
