In this article Computer function keys and shortcut keys will be discussed which are very important for RRB JE exam as well as good to know to upgrade your knowledge and speed in computer applications.

1. F1 function key is used for Help.

2. F2 function key is used for reducing page brightness in MS Word.

3. Ctrl + F2 is used for print preview in M S Office.

4. F3 function key is used for increasing brightness in MS Word.

5. F4 function key is used for Internet explorer window address.

6. Alt + F4 is used for computer shut down.

7. F5 function key is used for Refreshing the page on Internet explorer.

8. F6 function key is used for menu bar.

9. Alt + F7 function key is used for spelling check in M S Word.

10. F8 function key is used for rebooting during window installation.

11. F9 function key is used for removing selected portion.

12. Shift + F10 is used for right click in mouse.

13  ctrl + F11 function key is used for full screen view in computer folders and Alt + F10 is used for full screen view in MS word.

19. Ctrl + Shift + ESC or Ctrl + Alt + Delete shortcut key are  used to open task manager.

20. Alt + Enter shortcut key is used to display properties dialogue box for selected folder.

21. Alt + Tab shortcut key is used to restore the minimised windows.

22. Window key is used to display or hide start menu.

23. Ctrl + F11 function key is used to create Macro in MS excel.

24. Shift + F5 shortcut key is used to bring up find and replace box in MS excel.

25. Ctrl + F9 function key is used to minimise currently selected window in MS excel.

26. Ctrl + F10 function key is used to maximise currently selected window in MS excel.

27.  Alt + shift + F1 key is used to insert a new worksheet in MS excel.

28. Shift + F3 is used to open Excel formula window.

29. Shift + F2 is used to insert new comment in cells.

30. Ctrl + F9 function key is used to update formula in a table in MS excel.
